2009 Road King

The Road Kings have a "retro cruiser" appearance and most models are equipped with a large clear windshield. Road Kings are reminiscent of big-twin models from the 1940s and '50s. With the 2009 models, Harley-Davidson redesigned the Touring model chassis, improving it considerably.

The base model Road King is distinguishable from the Road King Classic by the larger front wheel - a 17 inch front wheel on the RK (compared to the smaller 16 inch front wheel on the RKC) and the hard-style saddlebags.

All touring models have 6 gallon fuel tanks.

The 2009 Road King (FLHR) is available in these colors:

• Two-Tone Flame Blue Pearl - Pewter Pearl
• Two-Tone Red Hot Sunglo - Smokey Gold
• Two-Tone White Gold Pearl - Pewter Pearl

The 2009 Road King has a recommended MSRP of $16,999 if you order it in vivid black. The price bumps up to $17,374 if you order a solid color, and jumps to $17,729 if you get your Road King in one of the two-tone color combinations.
