American Ironhorse was founded in 1995 by Tim Edmundson and Bill Rucker. Currently, they are the largest factory producer of custom V-twin motorcycles in the United States. With a 224,000 square foot factory located in Fort Worth, Texas, American Ironhorse manufacturers most parts - even the seats and wheels - for their bikes in-house. Many parts are laser-cut and fabricated by Amtech Manufacturing, a manufacturer that is also in Fort Worth, Texas.
The four main models are Slammer, Texas Chopper, Judge and the Bandera, out of which the Slammer won the bike of the year award in 2007 by V-twin magazine. The other models are not far behind the Slammer, with amazing specifications and a different style to suit the rider’s needs.
Apart from these powerhouse models, American Ironhorse also provides some custom models which have been built upon the base models. Roadrunner, Candy, X-chop and Project X are the new custom made choppers which have impressed the community with their design and specifications. The various options which American Ironhorse is providing in customizing the bikes include graphics, wheels, engines and naturally, colors. With a strong presence of the American Ironhorse brand in the USA, you do not need to worry about finding spares for the maintenance of your chopper.
All American Ironhorse motorcycles are built with S&S engines, that are shipped to the factory and assembled there.
